- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup apple butter
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just blended.
- Spread half the batter in the pan. Drop spoonfuls of apple butter on top.
- Add remaining batter and swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool before cutting.
