Description
Juicy and flavorful 20-minute Air Fryer Chicken Gyros made with marinated chicken thighs, seasoned butter, fresh veggies, and warm naan bread. A quick Mediterranean-style wrap perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
4 Boneless Chicken Thighs
6 Garlic Cloves, minced
½ Lemon, juiced
3 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
¼ tsp Chili Flakes
100g Butter, softened
½ Lemon, juiced (for butter)
Pinch of Salt & Black Pepper (for butter)
Pinch of Chili Powder (optional)
Naan Bread
Tzatziki Sauce
French Fries (homemade or frozen)
Red Onion, diced
Tomato, diced
Cucumber, diced
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix chicken with garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and spices. Marinate for 30 minutes.
Thread marinated chicken onto skewers. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Air fry the chicken for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway.
Mix softened butter with lemon, salt, pepper, and chili powder.
Once chicken is cooked, brush it with the seasoned butter while hot.
Warm naan bread in a skillet or air fryer until soft.
Spread tzatziki on naan. Add fries, chicken, onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
Wrap the gyros tightly in parchment paper and serve warm.
Notes
Soak wooden skewers in water for 15–20 minutes to prevent burning.
You can use pita instead of naan if preferred.
Store cooked chicken separately for easy gyro meal prep.
